I wanted to address the recent barrage of texts we’ve been receiving from another out-of-state group looking to raise their profile and funds. Many of you have reached out to me to share your thoughts, and I truly appreciate your support and humor highlighting these messages!

In just a few weeks, I’ve received reports about six separate silly text campaigns.

To illustrate their absurdity, let’s take a look at today’s text. It referenced a bill aimed at protecting our children from known online dangers, which passed with a strong 90-17 vote this year. Interestingly, a similar bill was approved last year with an overwhelming 113-1 vote.

The claims in the text were actually part of last year’s bill, which only faced one dissenting vote. Shockingly, several of the representatives who voted against the bill this year had previously supported it. This raises questions: Why the sudden change? Did they not read the bill last year, or were there other motivations at play this time around?

For more details, you can check out this article I found online .

I plan to revisit the other text messages we’ve received to highlight their inconsistencies as well.

Please remember, I am committed to being the same conservative problem-solver you elected to represent you and your family. While some politicians align with out-of-state groups and perceive obstacles everywhere, I focus on finding practical solutions that benefit our state and communities.

As always, thank you for your continued support!
