Like I mentioned earlier, I thought I’d go back to some of these texts everyone has been receiving and “set the record straight”. I’m not gonna go back and refute all these texts or the ones that I’m sure will continue to come. Most everyone sees them for what they are – and some don’t even pay attention because they know it’s typical politics.
This one was from weeks ago when we voted again for our House Speaker Murrell Smith. I remember I had 5 or 6 calls about this one.
Murrell Smith is a REPUBLICAN, even though the text makes you think he’s a Democrat.
Murrell received 102 votes to his opponent’s 17.
Of the 102 votes he received….almost 70 of those were from Republicans!
