I asked Mom to come to town so we could take her out for her birthday (she’ll be upset at me sharing she’s 79) and she offered to take time to help me knock on doors around the community! She would do anything for her only son and I’ve been blessed beyond measure to be raised by her and my Dad. They were together 60+ years before my Dad passed away earlier this year. I miss my hero but it’s good for Mom and I to talk about him often!
As you can see, she’s pretty good at this stuff!
In the clip, you’ll hear me mention how during a past campaign someone “flipped her off” (she didn’t like me saying that on camera) so she’s seen the bad side of campaigns before. The nasty mailers, distortions, etc. It happens. Doesn’t make it any easier but I’ve learned some people act differently than others.
My campaigns will always stay positive and focus on what is important to our community and how I deliver on those issues and fight for us in Columbia!
You’ve started to see several signs around town (mine and others running for other offices). Please know that my signs are placed with permission of the property owner/business owner. While one of my large signs was slashed in half and left on the ground, I hope others won’t be vandalized and that people won’t trespass onto other people’s property this campaign cycle.
Oh! As always, I need to remind everyone that Rep. Jay Kilmartin is not my opponent . You will see his signs around town; but that’s because many of his constituents and my constituents use the same roads getting around!
I’ll be personally placing yard signs out in the next few weeks! If you and your family would like to show your support, please let me know by emailing me at Nathan@NathansNews.com or calling me at home at 803-804-4613.
Early voting starts October 19th at Ballentine Park (Richland County residents) and Chapin Town Hall (Lexington County residents) and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd.
Asking for your prayers, support and vote again! Thank you for the kind emails, messages and words when I’m at your doorstep. I love serving and with your help, I can continue in November!
