I’ve had a website for many years now and have only upgraded it twice. Unfortunately when I upgrade, some things get lost. Posts have deadlinks. Photos don’t transfer. Things like that.

I’ve posted 1,479 entries over the years because keeping y’all informed helps y’all keep me informed as well.

This week I finally noticed “how come I don’t see comments on my site”? So I went to the computer guys to ask them. Keep in mind, everyone knows you can email me at NathanBallentine@schouse.gov and put CONSTITUENT in the subject line…so it’s not like I was missing your voice or that you didn’t have way to reach out to me; but sometimes, people want others to hear their voice too.

So, the computer guys have now fixed the comment glitch! So…now you can share your comments on any posts that interest you with others around town if you’d like. I have only censored two comments in my life and those were attacks on individuals in our community by anonymous posters (fake email address anyway). That was out of bounds.

Share what you’d like but try not to be a “keyboard warrior”. If you’re willing to share your comment with the world, put your name on it. Also, real email helps me respond personally and directly to you afterwards.

My home number is 803-834-4613 and my office number is 803-734-2969. You can always call those as well.

Staying in touch, like you/me have done, year round – and not just while we are in session or during an election – is the best way to help me serve you and our community! Thanks for being my eyes and ears around town!

Looking forward to you voting to receive the funds to expand medicad benefits to some of the 40,000 citizens, young and the elderly that need the assistance. If this issue is not on the agenda, out it on the floor!
