Town Hall Meeting: January 6th at 6:30 pm

Passing along an email I received today from Joan Tweed with the Ballentine-Dutch Fork Civic Assocation.

Mr. James Brown, Executive Director of Richland County Recreation and Mr. Bill Malinowski, County Councilman for our district , are holding a “TOWN HALL” meeting on January 6th at 6:30 pm. It would be appreciated if some of the people in our “town” of Ballentine would be able to show up for this meeting. It will be held at the Ballentine Community Center. Call 781-2031 for information.

The Ballentine Community Center is growing under the leadership of Charlene Lyles, our newest manager. However, there are still issues to be addressed, such as: improved lighting, paved parking area, a new sign erected on Bickley Road so people know the building exists. Mr. Brown and Mr. Malinowski will be explaining the budget concerns and improvements for the future of YOUR center.

PLEASE COME TO THIS MEETING TO SHOW MR. BROWN THAT THIS COMMUNITY CARES!! We had 100 + people at the Ballentine Civic Christmas party, so we know you are out there.
