After six months without an office due to renovations on the third floor, I am happy to be back in Suite 320 of the Blatt Office, where my journey as a legislator began.
This has been my office since I was first elected, with only one move when I took over the window office from former Rep. Liston Barfield. While many members opt to move to the fourth or even fifth floors as they serve longer, I believe an office is just an office, and I am perfectly content to stay where I have been for years.
However, staying put tends to lead to clutter. Over the years, visitors have seen numerous photos from around the district, mementos from our schools, and a lot of paperwork—legislation, folders, budget briefings, and manuals stacked around.
This year, I took the time to clean up! I invite you to visit—just give us a call in advance to let us know when you or your group would like to come by.
