What a year for Irmo Little League! They continue to make our community proud!

IRMO, SC – The Town of Irmo has set the date for the Community Celebration to honor the four Irmo Little League teams that recently played in the 2025 Little League World Series.
Wednesday, September 3, at 6:30 PM
Friarsgate Park
1712 Chadford Road, Irmo
Irmo’s Mayor, Bill Danielson, stated, “Our Irmo community has so much pride in our local youth baseball and softball programs, especially Irmo’s 2025 Southeast Little League Team. We have had an incredible outpouring of support from our local businesses and restaurants that want to be a part of this hometown celebration on September 3rd and we couldn’t be more excited!”
The gates will open at 5:00 PM for our volunteers and exhibitors, and the celebration will kick off at 6:30 PM. Parking will be available at Friarsgate Park and at HE Corley Elementary School.

Bubba’s Pub: providing a face painter, a food truck with hot dogs and drinks and kids karaoke
The Cheesecake Hut: providing cheesecakes, cupcakes and more

Whataburger: providing hamburgers
HorsePower Crane, LLC: providing a boom truck with a crane and flag
BGR8 Martial Arts: providing a tent with candy
Kona Ice Truck: providing sno-cones
Just Lakin It Handcrafts: providing custom keychains and “We Believe in Irmo” magnets
Palmetto Storm Cheer: providing a bounce house and cotton candy to benefit the Irmo Little League
Texas Roadhouse: providing food
Artistic Aspirations: providing a baseball-themed arts and crafts area
Hurricane Express Wash: providing discounts and free car wash cards
CNY Attractions: providing the setup of 9 holes of mini golf on Field 1
USC School of Journalism: providing students to cover the community celebration
Tide Law Firm: providing a baseball-themed tent with snacks and water + gift card giveaway
Fire Performance by Ben Brawley: performance on the concrete area between Field 2 and 3
Kompan Playgrounds – selling baseball hats, koozies, and more to provide a donation to Irmo Little League
Maurice’s Piggie Park – providing a food truck with free banana pudding, free meals for the league players, selling food to attendees
Chickenbutt Donuts: providing donuts
Carolina Wings: providing food
Irmo Lock Company & the Carolina Panthers: providing NFL Carolina Panthers Cheerleading posters
Town of Irmo: providing custom fans with “Believe in Irmo” and Town koozies

This festive homecoming celebration will have WIS New Anchor, Greg Adaline, as the emcee and will feature family fun for all ages; including: a bounce house, a foam party and more!
At 7:00 PM, President of the Irmo Little League, Bobby Jensen, will speak to the crowd. At 7:10, Irmo Mayor, Bill Danielson, will talk about what the team means to the Irmo community. And at 7:15, the teams will officially be introduced by Jenn von Ahn, VP and Director of Baseball for Irmo Little League.
Irmo Little League President, Bobby Jensen, stated, “We are so thankful that our community and our town have as much pride in these teams as I do! There are many local businesses that reached out to the Town of Irmo to help throw these athletes, their families, and coaches an incredible celebration. We Believe in Irmo!”
