The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) maintains more than 41,000 miles of roadway across the state. As we all know, sometimes these roads become marred by potholes!
I ride the same roads you do, everyday. Many remember this video I filmed in 2020 that got immediate attention and repairs for our area. If you see something, report it. You can always call my office but SCDOT has made it even easier with this bliz!
SCDOT is hitting the roads with a “Pothole Blitz,” a statewide effort to tackle potholes and make travel safer for everyone. Over the next several weeks, our dedicated maintenance crews will be working extended hours to fill and repair potholes across the state.
The fastest way to get potholes fixed is by reporting them.
If you see a pothole, don’t just drive over it – report it!
