While the SC Senate continues to refuse to pass legislation to fix our roads, upgrade our state ethics laws, improve education in our state – the SC House is working efficiently and saving taxpayer dollars by furloughing three weeks this session.
In addition, the SC House has again passed legislation to shorten the time we are in session as well as reduce the amount of time spent on recognizing visitors and guests to the chamber.
The SC House believes in doing the people’s work – effectively and efficiently.
