We finally passed the state budget yesterday. This means we are finished with the 2nd regular session of the 126th SC General Assembly until January, 2027 (unless we are called back to address community investments- also known as earmarks).

Focusing on family and the paying job is always top priority! After that, it’s staying in touch, listening to y’all, and working on ways to improve life for everyone in South Carolina.
An extra twist for me this fall will be training and running my first full marathon! I asked your advice weeks ago, and y’all gave it to me. After 9 half marathons, y’all told me to do the FULL this year! That race will be in December.
I’ll see you on the streets around our community this fall when I’m putting in 4-8 mile runs during the week and on 10-20 mile runs on the weekend. Join me if you’d like! I’ll try to share locations when possible.
Hopefully, you’ll choose to send me again to Columbia to represent you and your family this November! Every Republican House Member has a Democrat opponent this fall. I love campaigning, so I’m looking forward to that and ask for your support and your vote!
