This is why I love hearing from y’all! Seems like each month when I send out my monthly COMMUNITY UDPATE EMAIL, I get the most feedback – and I love it!
Like you, I drive down Woodrow Street and used to notice the railroad ties stacked up. After months (years?) I guess we get used to it and don’t pay it any attention.
A constituent in Friarsgate asked about them and so I headed over to grab dinner one night at Lizard’s Thicket, noticed the ties still there, and thought “has anyone called the railroads to have these removed?” I pulled over. Made a call. And soon this eye-sore will be removed.
I was told before Halloween, they will be gone! That’s a nice treat – and hopefully not a trick! 🙂
