Please put CONSTITUENT in the subject line whenever you email me at the State House. It’s the best way to be sure I read your email, can reply, and can help! My “auto reply” is set to let you know this; but that auto-reply only goes out when individuals email me directly at NathanBallentine@schouse.gov. If you reach out via another avenue ( clicking on the State House website ), you may never get that auto-reply and your email mail get lost with those you see above. If you email via an online campaign (where you get an email from an organization where you click a button to contact your Representative or Senator) same things applies.
I don’t want to miss hearing from any constituent – so, please know you can always call the office (803) 734-2969 or my home number (803) 834-4613.
One of the first things I noticed when I came into office was the amount of emails we receive (not to mention phone calls). Back then Facebook was just getting started and X (formerly Twitter) wasn’t even around yet. Those two tools have increasingly made it challenging to be sure every one wanting a response and help received a response and help!
Above is a quick screen grab of the email I receive at the State House. What you see is just one snippet. I randomly clicked on 2 and you see they are not residents here in Irmo and Chapin.
