Over the years, you’ve seen how much attention our community has been receiving concerning roads, sidewalks, traffic signals, etc.

Today, I’ve learned our area will be receiving more funding from Richland County for road resurfacing than any other area in the county! As the only Republican serving on the Richland County Delegation, this is very surprising but appreciative. (correction, Senator Cromer picked up some of Richland County during the last re-districting, so I’m one of only 2 Republicans serving with 16 Democrats)

Developing relationships over years and working together has helped us get the attention we all asked for when I first was elected years ago!

Oh, and if you haven’t seen earlier on NathansNews, we are finally starting to see “dirt moving” (almost) on the Broad River Road Project which is managed locally by the county (Penny Tax Program) and not by the state Department of Transportation. After years of hearing “it’s coming”, I made it known we can’t wait any longer.
