With the redrawing of Congressional, Senate, and House districts, the 2nd Congressional District had a vacancy on the SC Real Estate Commission. It was my pleasure to join other House and Senate members in nominating constituent, David Lockwood, to the board. As you can see below, David is very well qualified to serve and received overwhelming support from my colleagues. (Special thanks to ,y colleauge Representative Kenny Bingham)
David Lockwood is a Senior Vice President of Colliers International.
His primary areas of expertise include brokerage management with a concentration on leasing of office and retail properties, market analyses, lease negotiations, corporate services and consultative brokerage. David has been recognized numerous times for his service to the REALTOR® Association and is a past recipient of the South Carolina REALTOR® Association’s, REALTOR® of the Year Award, Central Carolina REALTOR® Association’s REALTOR® of the Year Award, the President’s Excellence Program Award and the Grassroots REALTOR® of the Year Award. David has served as the President of the Central Carolina REALTOR® Association and the South Carolina REALTOR® Association.
He currently serves on the Finance Committee and the Executive Committee of the National Association of REALTORS®. He is also a past Chairman of the Carolinas Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®.
David is the immediate Past Chair of the Columbia City Center Partnership for the CBD Business Improvement District and also serves on the Board of Directors of EngenuitySC and ePropertydata.com LLC. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Juvenile Justice and Sandhills School.
