Vote to bring 2,000 jobs to the Midlands costs perfect score

Conservative Republican Nathan Ballentine once again comes through with a strong showing in the 2011 SC Chamber of Commerce legislative scorecard. This year, Representative Ballentine received an “A” rating of 93. Slightly lower than his 100 last year. This year’s lower score came as a consequence of his vote to bring 2,000 jobs to the Midlands. Had this vote not occurred, Ballentine would have received a legislative score of 100, matching his previous score from 2010.

This latest report confirms Representative Ballentine’s dedication to tackling the important pro-business issues facing our state and community. Nathan understands that removing undue government bureaucracy (aka “red tape”) is key to attracting new business, growing existing business and putting South Carolina back to work.
