National Day of Prayer

In March of 2001, my mother gave me a book, The Prayer of Jabez , and it’s stayed on my bedside table ever since. If you are not yet familiar with it, I’d recommend it highly!

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain.” So God granted him what he requested. I Chronicles 4:10 NKJV

Maybe you’d like to attend one of the local events going on in Columbia that day ? There’s also a Community Concert of Prayer at Chapin Baptist that evening at 7 p.m.
