I can't help but wonder if those that were enjoying the Obama Momma parties realized what happened to the stock market after the elections. To me, this is a sign of what's coming. I do plan on checking out Williams' blogs as they are very informative! As a state worker I'm being told I'll be furloughed for five days. I have 21 years in. When a fellow secretary retired, I was given her duties on top of the duties already assigned. State hiring freezes except for those who need a part timer to answer the phones. I think I've saved the state over $25,000 by taking on additional duties - a whole FTE - yet they want me to give them five days of pay? Enough already. I've paid my dues. I'm an excellent worker and I have the EPMS' to back up that statement. Is there any alternatives open for me? I'd really like to know.
