Couldn't agree with you more on the speed with which our bloggers beat the MSM in getting us information. My concern with the bloggers is real simple...while we'd like to think that they hold themselves accountable to a certain professional standard, do bloggers have the right to say whatever they want and circulate it to the masses with absolutley no checks and balances? At least we have the FTC and others regulating our mainstream media, but our bloggers have the power to slander without any consequences. Seems to me like they have "self imposed" authority and none of the accoutability/responsibility to meet a professional code of conduct. Your thoughts?
