Common Sense
June 30, 2009

While I will always fight for the same common-sense reforms that the Governor has believed for several years, there comes a time when a new champion must emerge to lead the movement. If not already, that time will soon be upon us. Over the past few election cycles, South Carolinians have sent reform-minded
leaders to Columbia and it will be our duty to ensure that our state’s future will be one with more efficient government and low taxes. One focused on improving education and creating economic prosperity. One where people, not politics, will be the priority.

Got something to say?

What does this mean? Are you calling on Sanford to resign?
Good answer…..agree whole heartedly….
What?,
In my opinion, calls for resignation won’t impact the Governor’s decision(s).
Regardless whether he steps down or not, the reform movement will continue and will also grow in numbers – just with another flag-barer instead of Sanford.
Nathan
We need as many “common sense” elected officials as we can find! I am so fortunate to have such a person for my State Rep. in you Nathan. I totally agree that Gov Sanford has lost all credibility as our leader for reform, transparency and fiscal responsibility. His media performance on Tuesday was totally disgusting. He lost what little faith some of us had in his redemption. We need new more visable champions to lead the way.
Maybe someone in the house should start the articles of impeachment since he won’t resign and clearly has a psychological problem and cannot focus on the business of the state. He is an embarrassment to the state of South Carolina.
