Smile for the HOA camera! We have video surveillance now that the nature trail/criminal expressway effort failed. The video doesn't work at night and fills up its memory after a couple weeks. So, we've paid for a white elephant that missed its chance to help with a couple recent Loss From Vehicle crimes. The picture at top is close to a couple rental homes we have here. Yeah, I can agree with our crackdown on parking on lawns. But crackdowns on inevitable bare spots in lawns growing in clay and the "four strands of grass" is simply harassment. Property values are going down across the board thanks to national-level issues. "Lawn patrols" and HOA pettiness are forcing people to sell and at lower prices. Way to go HOAs!
