Lou,

I think you're right.

Often, folks would rather have a "person of the people" instead of someone being touted by "politicians".

Thanks for visiting. and sharing your views!

Bill, sorry for the delay. You know, it's really strange (or actually probably not) how different voters are across the state.

It's also interesting to see/analyze what enabled one candidate to win instead of another. Sometimes it's issues but oftentimes it's not.

I appreciate you stopping by the site and hope you'll visit often!

I believe that sometimes, endorsements hurt. I believe they have the potential to hurt more than help.

I don't think endorsements matter. But campaign tactics DO matter. I live in District 23 and Knotts pulled out all the lies, dirty tricks & deceptions in the book to pull off a runoff victory. In the end, he would never have been able to get the votes he needed to beat Shealy (the clearly better, more ethical candidate) unless he rallied the Democrats who did not vote on June 10th. They could easily be convinced to vote for a RINO who supports Democrats for Governor against his own party.

We will soon find out that "Porky" Knotts owes his win to Lexington County Democrats.
